Show Report The Western Canadian National/CPFA Classic Pigeon show got underway at 3 PM Thursday November 19th when we were able to get into the Ag Rec Buidling at the Abbotsford Fair grounds. We had our work cut out for us with 42 exhibitors entering 937 birds. Along with For Sale and the row for the Best of Breeds, we were looking at 1100 holes to set up.
The club trailer had been brought to the building a couple of days earlier with all our equipment. Ken Chatwin trucked over a forklift from his company to help with the heavy cage moving. The tables were already in the show room as part of the rental (we just had to set them up). We had a good turn out to help and by 7:00 pm we were ready for birds to be cooped in. Read more >>> |
